In the heart of London’s theatre land, XU is reminiscent of the original social clubs, and the luxury dining rooms of 1930’s Taipei.
Entering into XU, you will be greeted by the steam from the Tea Counter, mahjong tiles clashing from the mountain mural rooms; White socks, gold rings, polo necks, Xiao Tsai at the marble bar - XU is theatrical yet relaxed.
XU will offer a unique journey into Taiwanese culture and cuisine, from its food, cocktails and tea offering through to its interiors.
Diners will be transported to the mountainous regions of the island through to the busy streets of Taiwan’s capital city – Taipei.
XU is evocative of the 1930’s, incorporating warm rich wood panelling, an emerald lacquered tea kiosk in the tea rooms and hand painted murals throughout. Wooden ceiling fans from xiao chi houses and a marble bar with pink leather seats within the heart of the bustling dining room, help encapsulate the cinematic story.
